昨天下午，一個患了先天性肌肉萎縮症的同學來找我。他是外系的學生，坐著電動輪椅在我辦公室外徘徊。我問他有什麼事，他靦腆開口："老師，我想修你的表演藝術課，但我沒有任何基礎，而且我這樣... 可以嗎？" ... 我驚訝望著他，眼淚差點掉出來："當然可以..."

藝術教育真正能做的不是培養"藝術家"這個頭銜(那是你自己的事)，而是培養人，這是藝術進入台灣教育體制的最大迷思：工具化，如同很多人說："我以後又不做藝術，為什麼要學藝術？"... 然而事實是，只有先看待自己是一個活生生的"人"(而非"角色")，才有可能讓自己成為(別人口中的)藝術家... 八年前曾寫過一本書：體現創意，就是在說這個。http://wuhwaihsuan2011.pixnet.net/blog/post/91098696
我以為這事早被遺忘，取而代之的是風光亮麗的"文創"，想不到它在我心中還沒死... 突然想起二十年前和校長吵架的對話：如果能把色盲的學生教到會做視覺設計，那才是教育的成功。
...
於是，如何設計課程，讓一個身體不靈活的孩子體驗"表演藝術"，將是我這學期的重要挑戰...
感謝他來找我，讓我在官僚醜陋的"學術殿堂"裡，找回一點藝術的教育意義。
