這是一首有趣的歌："致前女友們"，句句充滿感謝，但英文的說法似乎有點尷尬，歌詞中的愛情狀態既不適合用現在式也不是過去式，我更無法想像愛情的"完成式"是什麼，因為，至少對我而言，"前女友"並不是那個"不愛"的人，而是另一種愛情狀態...

至於"她們"：一個在台北，一個在加拿大，一個在上海，一個在英國，她們出現在我生命的不同階段，陪我度過不同歲月，有的嫁為人妻，有的還是單身，有的是知名畫家，有的是藝術教育工作者... 有的只能存在思念中，有的則是現在進行式... 總之，感謝她們，也祝福她們...
